HOUSING, ENGLAND AND WALES

The North Hull Housing Action Trust (Area and Constitution) Order 1991 Approved by both Houses of Parliament

Made 17th July 1991
Coming into force 18th July 1991

    The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 60 and 62(1)(a) of the Housing Act 1988[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with the council of the City of Kingston upon Hull in accordance with section 61(1) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order, a draft of which has been laid before Parliament and has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:
    Citation and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the North Hull Housing Action Trust (Area and Constitution) Order 1991 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
    Interpretation
        2.    In this Order, "the map" means the map entitled "Map referred to in the North Hull Housing Action Trust (Area and Constitution) Order 1991", of which prints, signed by an Under Secretary in the Department of the Environment, are deposited and available for inspection at the offices of the Secretary of State for the Environment and the offices of the council of the City of Kingston upon Hull.
    Designation of housing action trust area
        3.    The area comprising the two parcels of land shown on the map bounded externally by a black line edged internally with a stippled band is hereby designated as a housing action trust area.
    Establishment of the North Hull Housing Action Trust
        4.    For the area designated by article 3 above there is hereby established a housing action trust, named the North Hull Housing Action Trust.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order designates two parcels of land totalling approximately 80 hectares in the City of Kingston upon Hull as a housing action trust area and establishes a housing action trust, to be called the North Hull Housing Action Trust, for that area. The two parcels of land are shown hatched black on the map forming part of this note.
