URBAN DEVELOPMENT

The Leeds Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1995

Made 6th February 1995
Coming into force 1st April 1995

    The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 134 and 135 of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 26 to, the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Leeds Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st April 1995.
    Urban development area
        2.—(1)  Article 3 of the Leeds Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1988[2] is hereby revoked.

        (2)  So much of the Leeds Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1988 as has not previously been revoked shall be revoked with effect from 1st July 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order revokes the Leeds Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1988 which designated the Leeds urban development area and established the Leeds Development Corporation.
